« Indian Forest » - High ropes courses in Vianden
Indian Forest open from 1st April 2010 until 31st Octobre 2010.
The « Indian Forest » is a set of high ropes courses in the woods of the picturesque town of Vianden. You will enjoy a few hours of adrenaline rushing family fun high up in the trees and will have the opportunity to conquer up to 60 elements.
Safety
All visitors are given a short, but required, initial instruction in our training area. It includes familiarisation with the safety harness and ancillary equipment as well as how to attach oneself to the safety wires of the ropes courses. In all the courses, the visitor is required to be permanently attached to the safety wires. After the initial instruction, the visitor has the choice of several courses, each of them lasting approximately two hours.
Who can take part in each course ?
- PURPLE courses: Children of 5 years and above
- YELLOW course: minimum height 1,25 meters
- BLUE course: minimum height 1,35 meters
- RED course: minimum height 1,40 meters
- GREEN course: minimum height 1,50 meters
- BLACK course: minimum height 1,65 meters + 18 years old
Sportswear and practical footwear are essential – trainers or ankle supporting are ideal.
It is recommended to use the car park of the castle (ticket / maximum of 5 hours). You can reach the Indian Forest by foot through the “Bildchensbësch” (approximately 15 minutes). Alternatively take the scenic chairlift and wander down the hill (approximately 15 minutes).

Prices for 2010
Adults (> 15 years) : 15 € per person
Juniors / Children (5 - 14 years) : 10 € per person
For group bookings (10 persons) Adults : 14 € per person
For group bookings (10 persons) Juniors / Children : 9 € per person
Black course (not suitable for children) : Additional charge of 5 € per person
